COURSE LAYOUT
HOLE NO. 1 - Par 4, 183-yard hole with a water hazard at 100 yards. The tee box is located just below the Commissioner's residence. The green is 64 feet lower than the tee box. Three walnut trees on the right side of the fairway and a hickory tree to the far left. A long shot will get you over a steep bank and into the woods. A shank to the right will get you a 2-stroke penalty for hitting the Clubhouse.
HOLE NO. 2 - Par 3, 130-yard hole with a small water hazard midway to the cup. The largest of the FarmGolf greens is located on a man-made bench area. The cup is 22 feet higher than the tee box.
HOLE NO. 3 - Par 3, 101-yard hole with a steep sloped bank on the left and woods to the right. Aim just left of the green and short to get your ball to roll onto the green. The green is located 14 feet lower than the tee box.
HOLE NO. 4 - Par 5, 250-yard hole with a blind tee shot. The cup is located 18 feet higher than the tee box with a high point in the middle of the fairway approximately 20 feet above the green elevation. The FarmGolfer should hit the first shot at least 140 yards to get a good lie for the second shot. A steep green with rough to the far side and woods and a highway to the right side.
HOLE NO. 5 - Par 3, 89-yard hole running slightly downhill, with a small green sloping to the right. A rough to the far right side and a steep bank on the right. This is the only hole that has been "aced" to date. A wedge with a little over a half swing is the tip of the day from the Commissioner.
HOLE NO. 6
- Par 4, 223-yard hole with the green located 46 feet higher than the tee box. Trees line either side of the fairway and a water hazard is just short of midway and to the left. Two fine shots will get you on a small green with a nasty slope on the right side. A short putt can easily end up three times farther from the cup.
